The Darke County Chamber’s membership in the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance gives members access to member benefits and value-added programs normally not available to individual chambers of commerce. The alliance combines bargaining strength of chambers located in southwest Ohio to provide health insurance, eye and dental care, prescription savings, and other discount pools. The Alliance gives chambers of commerce and their members buying power that might not be able to be independently achieved.
Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance Benefit Plan
SOCA (Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance) Benefit Plan health program is available to small business employers domiciled in Ohio that have at least two employees enrolled on a medical plan and with a total of 50 or fewer employees. SOCA has teamed up with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide claims administration and stop loss protection. This self-funded medical offering is a multiple employer welfare arrangement enabling smaller employers to join together to share in the overall claims risk. By being part of a larger, self-funded pool, employers have financial protection backed by Anthem's stop loss coverage. In addition the SOCA Benefit Plan has programs to do more for the health of employees with innovative services, added conveniences and more personalized assistance. These programs include SmartShopper Rewards Program, LiveHealth Online, Future Moms, 24/7 NurseLine, ConditionCare, MyHealth Advantage, Behavioral Health, Case Management, and AIM Clinical Review. Participating employers in the SOCA Benefit Plan are eligible for discounts on Anthem dental, vision, life, and disability products.

ApproRx Prescription Savings Card is a free pharmacy discount card used as a primary plan and/or on prescriptions not covered by your insurance plan. Receive discounts of up to 87% off retail costs on prescriptions at most major drug chains, supermarkets, box stores, and independently owned pharmacies. The reusable prescription savings card is free with no enrollment, activation or expiration date. The card is pre-activated and can be used immediately at the time of prescription purchase at over 67,000 participating pharmacies. Rx Cut is also a savings card on the purchase of pet medications.

Chamber Gift Certificate Program
Chamber Gift Certificate Program keeps shopping dollars in Darke County, and specifically within the businesses of participating chamber members. Gift certificates are sold in $5, $10 and $25 denominations. Participating member businesses are not charged a redemption fee and receive full face value upon returning redeemed certificates to the chamber office. $1,025,000 remained with chamber members during the past twelve years with participation in the Gift Certificate program. The Darke County Chamber of Commerce provides online presence for its members through the chamber's website at www. darkecountyohio.com. Housed on the web pages is information about the chamber, its services including chamber member benefits, chamber events and programs, the Darke County Safety Council, and our on-line membership directory. Also provided are tourism opportunities and regional facts and figures. Members with their own website may be linked to the chamber’s website upon request through their directory listing.
Business Referral System
The chamber’s Business Referral System refers chamber members every day. The chamber office receives over 12,000 phone calls and requests each year asking for information regarding the goods and services available in Darke County and the surrounding area. It is the Darke County Chamber policy to refer chamber members only.
Chamber’s Membership Directory and Resource Guide
The Chamber’s Membership Directory and Resource Guide is given free to members and the general public. As a chamber member, your business appears in a listing arranged alphabetically and by product or service category. The membership directory is also available on-line.
As a member you are entitled to copies of all Chamber publications including Membership Directory and Resource Guide, chamber newsletter, and much more. A regional Wage, Salary and Benefit Survey is available to Chamber members at a nominal fee. Chamber member mailing labels are provided to members at a discount. Members may also insert promotional materials into the chamber’s newsletter at a substantial savings.
Invitations to all Chamber Activities and Events
Invitations to all Chamber activities and events allow members to pick those activities that meet their needs. These programs include quality business seminars, ribbon cuttings, annual meeting, member-focus groups, legislative luncheons, business luncheons, committee-sponsored programs, and much more. Attendance at these functions provide a networking opportunity to meet the decision makers of member businesses.
Certificate of Origin and Affidavit
Certificate of Origin and Affidavit may be obtained from the Chamber of Commerce. A Certificate of Origin is a document certifying that goods being exported were produced in a particular country. It usually accompanies the exporter’s / shipper’s invoice or the Bill of Lading and is required by most countries. Whenever certificates of origin are requested of United States producers, they usually apply to countries in which the U.S. has a special trade relationship or agreement.
