A company has a potential to earn a 2% rebate when you become an active member of the Safety Council and a potential to earn an additional 2% by reducing either the severity or the frequency of injuries by 10%, or by remaining at zero. The Darke County Safety Council helps you to learn techniques for increasing safety in your workplace, teaches you to better manage your workers’ compensation program, enables you to network with other area employers, and shows you how to access useful, money-saving workers’ compensation and risk management information.

Membership is open to all companies in Ohio regardless of Chamber membership status. Companies must have a BWC policy number and have active BWC coverage status. There is a $100.00 annual membership fee. Safety Council meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Brethren Retirement Community.
