What is IMPACT?

Impact is a one day educational opportunity for young women in High Schools throughout Darke County to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing and Design.

The day will focus on hands on activities, personal connections and a Career Fair with local employers who want to connect with our future workforce.

Objectives

• Students will connect with local/regional women in STEM2D careers to discuss education background, daily experiences and opportunities.
• Students will discover local companies that are interested in supporting and hiring women in STEM2D careers.
• Students will experience a sampling of STEM2D careers through hands on experiences provided by local companies.
